Compare the full shade number with your professional colour chart and client record. The first part describes the depth; the reflect identifies the tonal direction. Similar-looking names or swatches can represent different formulas, so order by code as well as the colour description.

For example, the shade selector distinguishes 6 Dark Blonde from 6.0 Deep Dark Blonde and 6.23 Dark Iridescent Golden Blonde. These are separate choices; check the stock status of your required code rather than substituting a neighbouring number.

INOA hair colour results depend on the starting base, percentage of white hair and previous services. Assess regrowth separately from lengths and ends, particularly when they are already coloured or porous. Mixing & developer compatibility

INOA oxydant, mixing and development time

Use only the recommended INOA oxidants for this system. L'Oréal Professionnel's guidance specifies equal parts colour and dedicated developer, a 1:1 ratio, with a standard development time of 35 minutes. Check the supplied pack and current technical instructions before each service.

The recommended INOA developer range includes 10, 20 and 30 volume options. Select the appropriate strength for the desired depth, coverage and levels of lift; a higher strength is not automatically the right choice. Do not substitute a general cream oxidant, a DIA activator or a different brand's developer for the dedicated INOA system.

Follow the application, emulsification and finishing instructions for the exact product. At the end of processing, emulsify as directed and rinse thoroughly before completing the specified cleansing step. Keep hairdressing tools, timing and measurements consistent with the professional protocol.
